大家好，我是六年忠班的凌晨溪，今天我演讲的题目是见利不求沾分，利沾分则痴心亦动。

Good afternoon,everyone, I am Celine from G6A. My topic is when profit is sought, even the devoted heart wavers.

“见利不求沾分，利沾分则痴心亦动”是我们信守里的一句话。这句话是为了告诫我们不能占小便宜，不能看到别人有利益时，总想着自己能分到一些，不能贪心。

“When profit is sought, even the devoted heart wavers”. This is one sentence from the creed of our school which tells us we shouldn’t take advantage of others' benefit and shouldn’t be greedy.

请大家想一想，如果我们成天费劲心机地想着如何让自己能多占一点便宜，再多一点，再多一点，生怕少了自己一份，这样岂不是很苦？我们不妨把心胸放宽一点，其实这些便宜也没什么大不了的。

Let’s think about it all together, isn’t it very painful if we spend whole day thinking about how to get more benefit ? Why not just be a little more open-minded? Actually, it's not such a big deal.

再直白点说，小猴子的故事都听过吧，小猴子离开了出生的山顶，往山下走去。一路上，它看到地上有一粒芝麻，它捡了起来，继续走。没过一会儿，它看见了一根玉米，它心想玉米比芝麻大多了，于是它把玉米捡起来把芝麻扔了。又过了一会儿，它看见了一个西瓜，它又丢了玉米棒，抱着西瓜。走着走着，它看到了一只小兔子，它就扔下西瓜去追兔子，可最后，兔子没追到，还丢了西瓜。

其实，这也是我们常常犯的错误，我们很少想着非己勿贪，或者宁可吃亏，也不要占便宜。千万不要做一个雁过拔毛的人。

Just make it simpler for you guys, everyone has heard about the story of the little monkey, right? The little monkey left the peak of the mountain where he was born, it went down the mountain then. On the way, the monkey saw a sesame on the ground and picked it up. Later, the monkey saw a corn which was bigger than the sesame. Therefore, it picked the corn up and threw the sesame. A few moments later, it saw a watermelon, it picked up the watermelon and threw the corn. As the monkey was walking, it saw a rabbit, which made it leave the watermelon behind and go chase for the rabbit. But at last, it didn’t catch up with the rabbit and even lost the watermelon. In fact, we always make this kind of mistake. We seldom think that we shouldn’t take advantage of others' benefit and shouldn’t be greedy.
