Good afternoon，everyone. I am Yixin from G5A，I am going to talk about inner sincerity will surely be expressed outward today.

古话说：“诚于中而形于外”。这句话指的是一个人内心的真诚会表现在他的外表上。

As the old saying goes, "Inner sincerity will surely be expressed outward." This sentence refers to a person's inner sincerity being reflected in his or her appearance.

一个人如果有恭敬心，那一定能够从他的外表看出他的诚恳。如果一个人在拼命掩饰自己的错误，那一定会表现出心虚的样子。《大学》中说道：“人之视己，如见其肺肝然。”意思是别人看你时，就像看见你的心肺肝脏一样清晰。所以说，掩饰又有什么好处呢？

If a person has mind of respect, we can see his or her sincerity from appearance.If a person is desperately trying to cover up his mistakes, he will definitely show a guilty attitude. There is a saying in the book 《The Great Learning》,the others beholds him,as if he saw his heart or livers, of what use is his disguise?

《程门立雪》这个故事大家耳熟能详，主要讲的是下大雪时，杨时和游酢在雪中等待拜见老师陈颐，就那样等了很久。他们两个坚定的想法与恭敬心，都表现了出来，不然怎么能在雪中等待如此之久？

Everyone is familiar with the story of humble reverence,long long ago,Yangshi and Youzuo waited for their teacher Chengyi for a long time when it was snowy outside. It showed their mind of perseverance and respect, then how could they wait so long in the heavy snow?

再来说说我自己，曾经我不小心弄坏了我的好朋友的玩具，被她发现了，当时我和她说，是玩具自己掉的，她显然不信，我从她的脸上看到了冷冷的笑容，最终我和她真诚的道了歉，她也不再计较。

Let’s talk about my self, in the past , I broke my friend’s toy accidentally, I lied to her, I said that the toy dropped by itself, she obviously did not believe, I saw a cold smile from her face, and finally I apologized to her sincerely, she forgave me.

所以我们要真诚待人，不要掩饰自己，别人都能看出来。这就是：“诚于中而形于外”。
